Sony BDP-S360 - Mixed Review

The unit has two video outputs - HDMI and component video. HDMI handles the full range of digital outputs and has a fairly robust mechanism automatically detects and handles 1080p and 1080p-24-60 exits the end height. Component-video, the interlaced format different for older televisions to manage, but it is unlikely to be someone who will pay for a set of older persons in need.

The audio outputs are good - but there are no analog 7.1 channel surround sound capability. This is not the correctPlayer for you if you have a great home theater system, but it's great for an apartment. It has audio features that are just boring in comparison - that almost every type of audio connection known to man short of 7.1 channels.

The Sony BDP-S360 supports DVD, CD, MP3, JPEG, AVCHD and BD playback. On the back of the player has an Ethernet port that connects to the Web Feature BDLive. This player has no internal memory, you must have salesadditional external USB device to download BDLive functions of the Web. Another fault of this player is the USB port is not capable of supporting digital music player or photo. The other USB ports are not included. Pros and cons of Sony BDP-S360 Pros: The player can play through the HDMI output up to 1080p-24 Built-in DTS HD and Dolby True HD decoding through HDMI, speaker streams. BluRay player supports playback of websites and BDLive Sony Picture N 'ImageWebsite. Cons: BluRay player does not support the resolution to 7.1 analog audio output channels. It is not a good choice if you have an A / V receiver that is older. No internal memory, and the purchase of an external hard drive is required. Non-streaming-media service, or support for wireless multimedia streaming network play at home. (This is due to come to the next model year.) Sum: The Sony BDP-S360 Blu-Ray has the characteristics of the other BluRay players that are on the market. Sony did not wantCompetition with other companies and have failed miserably.
